OUR SERVICES

Complete Outdoor Construction for Homes, Developments, and Managed Properties

Outdoor Living & Hardscaping

Terraces, walls, kitchens, fire features, and pool surrounds planned as one connected build rather than separate additions, so elevations, joint lines, and cap details match across the whole property from the first phase onward.

Paver Patio Installation

Excavation past the unstable clay, aggregate compacted in lifts, hand-set pavers, restrained edges, and filled joints. Most terraces take three to five days and hold their surface for twenty to thirty years.

Paver Driveway Installation

Deeper base construction built for vehicles turning and braking in the same spots daily. Brick, cobblestone, and contemporary patterns set over compacted stone, with restrained borders and a twenty-five to thirty year service life.

Retaining & Seating Walls

Engineered structures holding real grade, tiered systems on steep lots, and low seating courses around terraces. Every retaining wall gets clean drainage stone, a perforated pipe, and reinforcement where height demands it.

Outdoor Kitchen Installation

Weather-rated framing, ventilated grill openings, sealed storage, and countertops built for direct sun and Carolina humidity. Structures are sized to the exact appliances you choose, with utility routing coordinated before masonry closes up.

Fire Pits & Outdoor Fireplaces

Masonry fire pits and full built-in fireplaces in heat-rated stone and block, set on compacted footings with ventilation planned in and at least three feet of clearance to any surrounding seating.

Quality Comes First

The Work You Never See Is the Work That Lasts

Almost every outdoor construction failure in this region traces back to something buried. A base that was too shallow, backfill dumped in one pass instead of compacted in lifts, drainage stone left out behind a wall, a footing set on topsoil. None of it shows on handover day, and all of it shows by the third wet winter. Taylor Made Dreamscapes would rather price the correct depth than defend a thin one, which is why our proposals sometimes sit above the cheapest number on your desk. You are buying the decade after installation, not the week of it.

Owner-Led From Layout to Final Walkthrough

The same standard applies whether we are setting a putting green or an engineered wall. We are on site when the layout stakes go down and still there when the last joint sand is swept in.

02

Licensed, Insured, and A+ Rated

We hold an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, earned across residential and commercial work since 2003. Larger projects are scoped in planned phases so a build can follow your budget rather than fight it.

What Our Customers Say

Transforming Fort Mill Properties Into Better Outdoor Living

Roughly 44 inches of rain falls here each year onto soil that absorbs almost none of it, which is why so many backyards end up with a low corner nobody uses. Taylor Made Dreamscapes builds outdoor living space that answers that problem first, here in Fort Mill, SC and right across the wider Charlotte region. We install paver patios and driveways, retaining and seating walls, outdoor kitchens, fire features, pergolas, complete landscape packages, artificial turf, putting greens, and landscape lighting, on single residential properties and on whole commercial developments. Licensed, insured, and building on this ground since 2003, we bring 25 years of practice to every project we take on.

FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need HOA approval before starting an outdoor project?

Most managed communities here require it for anything structural or visible from the street. Submitting dimensions, materials, and a site plan early avoids a stop mid-build, and we provide the detail an architectural committee typically asks to see.

  • How far ahead should an outdoor project be scheduled?

Several weeks to a few months, depending on scope, permit requirements, and the season you are aiming for. Spring and early summer book out first, so larger builds are often planned over winter and installed before the weather turns warm.

  • Does hardscaping add value to a home?

Well-built outdoor space consistently ranks among the improvements buyers in this market respond to, particularly usable terraces and finished entries. Durable materials, correct drainage, and clean detailing matter far more to that return than raw square footage does.

  • Do utility lines have to be located before digging?

Always, and it is required by law rather than simply advisable. South Carolina asks for no less than three working days notice before excavation begins, and the resulting marks stay valid for fifteen working days once they have been placed.
